Trump Wants Apple to Dead DEI

Trump back at it again, this time tellin Apple to dead they DEI policies completely—talkin’ ‘bout they shouldn’t just tweak ‘em, they need to scrap ‘em. He hopped on Truth Social yellin’ in all caps: “APPLE NEED TO GET RID OF DEI. NOT JUST TWEAK IT. DEI WAS A HOAX. DEI IS GONE!!!” Bruh really think shoutin’ gon’ make it true.

This comin right after Apple’s shareholders straight up said, “Nah, we keepin’ it,” even with conservatives pressin em to fall back. Meanwhile, companies like Meta and Google already startin to pull back on DEI cuz Trump back in the driver’s seat. He out here talkin’ ‘bout “DEI is discrimination” and even hintin at siccin the Justice Department on companies still rockin’ with it.

Apple ain’t say nothin yet, but at they annual meeting, Tim Cook basically said, “We ain't foldin.” He said Apple been about hirin the best people and lettin different perspectives come together to make moves. But he did admit they might have to tweak some things since the laws changin. We might gotta adjust, but dignity and respect? That aint goin nowhere.”

Trump already signed an order back in January to dead DEI everywhere—federal jobs, private sector, all that. He claim its “hurtin white folks and men” and messin’ up the whole “merit” thing with hirin. Basically, he actin like DEI the reason Chad ain’t get that promotion.

Apple don’t even do quotas or force diversity hires like that. They just be puttin money into HBCUs and racial justice projects. But now, with Trump back in power, best believe this DEI convo far from over. It’s gon be a whole lotta back and forth, and Trump ain’t lettin up.
